This Content & Usage Policy (“Policy”) governs the use of Archivist AI’s public campaign sharing features, including any text or image content users make publicly accessible via Archivist’s website (“Platform,” “Service,” or “Archivist”). By publishing content publicly on Archivist, you agree to comply with this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Scope of This Policy

   This Policy applies to all users who use Archivist’s platform to create, share, or publish public-facing campaign content, regardless of subscription status. While public publishing is currently restricted to verified, paying users, this Policy governs all content made visible to external visitors or search engines through public sharing features.

2. What You Can Publish
   • Original TTRPG notes, story arcs, dialogue, and gameplay summaries
   • Fictional worldbuilding and character backstories
   • Session recaps and adventure logs
   • AI-generated images created through Archivist or user-uploaded artwork

   Users are encouraged to publish creative content that enhances community storytelling and campaign continuity.

3. Mature Content Guidelines
   • Violence or combat
   • Consensual sexual themes involving adults
   • Profanity, horror, and disturbing scenarios

   You must mark your campaign as “Mature Content” if it contains any such material. Mature campaigns may be hidden behind a viewer warning, require additional moderation, or be excluded from feeds or search indexing at Archivist’s discretion. Failure to flag mature content accurately may result in removal or suspension.

4. Prohibited Content (Zero-Tolerance)
   • Illegal or Harmful Content
     • CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) or any sexual content involving minors (real or fictional)
     • Non-consensual sexual content, sexual assault, or depictions of sexual violence
     • Hate speech: Racist, sexist, transphobic, antisemitic, or other bigoted content
     • Real-world harassment or threats of violence against individuals or groups
     • Doxxing: Posting private, identifying, or personal information about others
     • Terrorism or violent extremism, including glorification of hate groups
   • Content Quality & Intent
     • Spam, junk content, or meaningless AI-generated material without user intent or curation
     • Shock images or extreme gore created for the purpose of disturbing others
     • Deepfakes or manipulated imagery used maliciously
5. AI-Generated Content

   Archivist supports the use of AI-generated assets created using our tools or uploaded by the user. Content created using AI is permitted if:

   • It reflects meaningful user input or editorial curation
   • It is relevant to the campaign or narrative
   • It does not violate the other content standards above

   Submissions composed entirely of low-effort or nonsensical generations may be removed without notice.

6. Use of Copyrighted or Derivative Material

   Archivist recognizes that many campaigns are inspired by published adventures, game systems, or licensed settings.

   • You may publish derivative or fan-created content if:
     • You own or legally license the original material (e.g., purchased a published module)
     • The shared content is transformative, such as notes, summaries, modifications, or personal interpretations
     • You do not upload or distribute entire copyrighted works, such as full sourcebooks or unaltered adventure text

   Archivist does not claim ownership over your campaign content. However, we may remove material in response to a valid takedown request under our DMCA Policy.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

   All public campaigns undergo automated moderation and may be reviewed manually.

   • Pending Review: All newly public campaigns are defaulted to non-indexable and hidden from feeds
   • Approval Required: Mature or flagged content may be escalated for manual moderation
   • Violation Response: Content in violation of this Policy may be removed, delisted, or permanently banned

   We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.

8. User Responsibilities
   • Honestly flag mature content when applicable
   • Not submit any prohibited material, even under fictional pretenses
   • Only upload artwork and text that you created, generated via allowed tools, or have rights to share
   • Accept that Archivist may moderate, limit, or remove your content at any time

   You grant Archivist a license to display, index, and link to your public content for discovery, SEO, and promotional purposes in accordance with our Terms of Service.

9. Reporting Abuse

   If you discover a campaign that violates this Policy, you may report it using the “Report Content” button on the campaign page or by contacting [email protected]. Reports will be reviewed promptly and may result in content removal or further action.

10. Policy Changes

    We may revise this Content & Usage Policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to users via the platform or email. Continued use of the public sharing feature constitutes agreement to the latest version of this Policy.
